A secret court is seizing the assets of thousands of elderly and mentally impaired people and turning control of their lives over to the State - against the wishes of their relatives.Words like apoplectic and incandescent do not adequately describe the rage I feel at reading this.
The draconian measures are being imposed by the little-known Court of Protection, set up two years ago to act in the interests of people suffering from Alzheimer's or other mental incapacity.

Let's get these bastards out of office and make sure they NEVER EVER get into power again. And make sure the next government damn well does its duty and removes all such legislation on pain of being hunted down in the fucking streets if it doesn't.
