According to German-Foreign-Policy.com The German Institute of International and Security Affairs is advising their government to neutralise British Euroscepticism, particularly with the prospect of a Conservative government in the near future: "German government advisors are insisting on concerted efforts to politically neutralize British EU-skeptics."
