MPs face ban on claiming expenses for second home mortgage

MPs would be banned from employing their family members in the Commons and from receiving taxpayers' money to pay the mortgage interest on their second homes under proposals expected to be published next week.

I note that the media (in this case Sky News on tv) last night reported this as if it had been actually put in place, rather than being a set of proposals.
