Criminal checks on families hosting foreign pupils to protect children against paedophiles could end school exchanges | Mail Online Ministers are insisting that both parents in British host families submit to child protection checks before they can put up an overseas pupil.
In the poisoned, authoritarian mind of New Labour this is especially necessary since
ministers cannot point to a single incident on exchanges that has led to child protection becoming a major issue.
Now that terrorism seems to have dropped way down the fright menu justification for totally unnecessary interference the government are making child abuse the major frightener.
