French farmers have rejected a demand to repay hundreds of millions of euros in state subsidies that have been ruled illegal by the European Commission.And there you have it.
If this happened to UK farmers our government would be hounding every last one of them to pay up, happy to bankrupt all of them in order to satisfy their puppet-masters in the EU.
